The two parts can be taken separately if required.

This course requires a basic understanding of computers.

Each participant has one computer to use with a range of images pre-loaded to fix and enhance.

Part one includes:

Managing images files and folders

· Using Photoshop's organiser workspace (please note part of the organiser module is not applicable to Apple/Mac users)

· Importing images from camera/scanner/computer

· Viewing imported images

· Rotating and adding captions

· What is tagging and how to tag images

· Stacking images

· Making albums

Using elements to fix and enhance images

· The tool box part 1

· Fixing red eye

· Fixing skin blemishes

· How to straighten images

· Adjusting lighting - brightness and contrast

· Correcting camera lens distortion

· Using spot healing brush and clone stamp to fix images

· Increasing and decreasing colour on selected areas of the image
